Horseshoe Equestrian was established in 2017 as our family moved onto the property. Having a long history within the equestrian field, we now specialize in retired horses who come from all over to be spoiled;and live out their days after giving their riders absolutely everything during a competitive careers! How lucky are these chaps to have such wonderful loving owners who give back to them once its time! We also take in a variety of other type equines who get a personalized schedule of treatment according to theirs needs :) I am on the property all the time and so we ensure 24hr monitoring on all animals dear to Horseshoe Equestrian.

Full Livery for Competition Horses

Full indoor livery in a secure wooden or brick stable block that offers each equine a big 4m x 4m space to call their own! Big, fluffy shavings ensure comfort and warmth in the evenings and a mixture of roughage to munch the night away.

Trucking Services

Trucking services for horses in a spacious Sun-pacer Jumbo Horsebox, all safety requirements are in place and knowledgeable drivers available.

We offer a program where you can learn how to look after horses properly, ensuring all the basic knowledge is correct.

Blue Steel Equestrian was founded in 2005, by Christopher Röhrich Growing up on a farm, Christopher was always surrounded by avid members of the riding community, and recognized an opening in the market for high quality, affordable equestrian apparel. After sourcing manufacturers both locally and internationally, the first product line went into production at the end of 2005, and a brand was born! Over the last 15 years, the company profile and product range has grown from strength to strength, with the Blue Steel logo making a regular appearance on the local and national equestrian scene. We were also one of the main sponsors of the Equestrian World Cup hosted in Port Elizabeth in 2008. Based in Port Elizabeth, we consign products to our nation-wide reseller network, as well as to local suppliers. In February 2013 the Radke Family bought Blue Steel Equestrian from Christopher. Amy and her mom Tanja have a long association with the equestrian world. Tanja is a Course Designer as well as being involved in many equestrian Committees. Amy has been riding since a very young age and has represented Eastern Province for many years. We have super friendly ladies who are handling sales. We cater for sport horses, leisure and breeding horses, as well horses in recovery. The company is a South African enterprise committed to serving the Southern African market. The primary shareholder is Dr Glynn Catton who qualified in 1969 as a veterinarian and entered the pharmaceutical and chemical industry in the 1970’s. In 1980 he established an industrial veterinary consultancy which has been involved in product registration plus the necessary trials to support a registration – from 1980 up to the current time. Dr Glynn Catton is a respected veterinarian in the industry as well as in the veterinary profession, and has achieved numerous awards for contributions to his profession and the industry. If there are any products that you use on a monthly/regular basis, please let me know what your requirements are, so I can ensure I always have replenishment stock ready for you. However we need to forewarn customers who use Rigly Horse Liniment that the product contains a form of aspirin which can result in levels above the accepted threshold level of the FEI and local testing authorities.
